Another Great Series-Silver Sequence
Two days ago I started The Silver Sequence. It was so great that I finished it in 3 days (a book a day.)
The first book Silver Child, is about how Milo, Walter, Helen, Emily, Freda, and Thomas discover their powers and unite. They all change, but no one knows why or how. Milo turns gold. Walter becomes a giant!! Helen can suddenly read minds. Emily and Freda become insect-girls who skitter on all fours! Thomas finds out he has the power to comfort, heal and much more with his "beauty." All 6 children are suddenly drawn to Coldharbour, a city of dumps. They sense the Roar, but how will they defeat it?
The Second book Silver City, is about the children use their powers. The Roar is drawing closer and closer to Earth! Milo, now a silver boy is about 4 miles long so he can protect the whole city. Thomas, the healer, discovers the weird Unearthers. Freda and Emily, the insect-girls swim for help. Walter, the giant, faces a terrifying trial of strength. Helen uses her mind reading abilities to sneak into the Roar's mind. Are they ready now to defeat the Roar?
Last but not least, the third book Silver World, is about how all the children in the world must help to defeat the Roar! Milo use his silver wings against a shower of poison. Walter saves many lives with his astonishing strength. Helen sneaks around in the Roar's mind for secrets. Thomas finds a new kind of transformative power. Emily and Freda's mysterious Protector offers help. Jenny turns into a terrifying weapon! Will there efforts be enough to save Planet Earth?

Ice Cream Month!!
July is the month of ice cream!! That's right!! You heard me, July is ice cream month!!
My family and I love to make zip-lock bag ice cream. Its fast, easy, tasty, and COLD! Below is a recipe for it.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup milk (it does not matter what kind)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla ( you can try other flavors too or use chocolate syrup)
- pint size zip-lock bag
- quart or larger zip-lock bag
- LOTS of ice!!
- 6 tablespoons of salt (rock works best, but you can use regular.)
- Add everything into the pint size bag.
- Then place the smaller bag into the larger bag.
- Add ice until it is full half way, with the salt (it works best with rock salt, but you can use regular.)
- Zip that bag up, rap it in a towel, (your hands will be icicles if you do not) and then shake for about 10 minutes. Enjoy!

Pendragon 9 Review
First off, there was non-stop action throughout the whole book. Exciting things were either happening with Bobby, or Mark and Courtney. Second, many of those secrets and hopes that were killing you were revealed. Some were the best thing that could happen, but others were like a blood bath. Last, this book had a killer ending! Because of it, I cannot wait for the tenth book!
- Action-5 Stars
- Timing of the Events-5 Stars (Secrets and those hopes were revealed just when you needed them.)
- Clearness (easy to understand)-5 Stars
- Beginning- 4.5 Star (It started out a little slow, but it was still nice to have a small break from all that action.)
- Middle-5 Star!!!
- End-5 Star
